KHARMA

Marina Medina Rodríguez, known as Kharma, was born on May 25, 2002, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Her musical beginnings were shaped by the influence of her father, who introduced her from an early age to a wide variety of genres and artists such as Queen, Phil Collins, Buena Vista Social Club, Taburiente, Nancy Sinatra, The Rolling Stones, Radio Futura, Machín, and Billie Holiday.
At the age of twelve, she discovered Hip Hop culture, drawing inspiration from icons like Wu-Tang Clan, Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, 50 Cent, NWA, and Big L. By fifteen, she began to explore Spanish-language rap, finding a new outlet for expression and pouring her frustrations into beats in private.
Her first encounter with the microphone came through freestyle battles, where she started gaining attention from the Díceselo!RAPS crew.
The rest of the story is told in her debut album, titled Fasto.
